Red flags
- Guaranteed returns, “risk-free” income or time-limited access.
- Requests for recovery phrases, private keys or remote computer access.
- Support accounts that contact you first through messages.
- Copied websites, misspelled domains or pressure to move conversation off-platform.
- Celebrity images, fake reviews or unverifiable screenshots presented as proof.
What to do instead
Stop, independently open the official website, verify the domain character by character, ask a trusted person to review the message and do not send funds while you feel rushed. A pause protects more people than a quick response.
